Trauma-Informed Youth Transport Services for Adolescents
Youth & Adolescent Intervention and Transport Services
Youth transport services play a critical role when adolescents must transition safely and respectfully
into treatment during periods of emotional or behavioral crisis.
Assisted Interventions provides trauma-informed youth and adolescent intervention and transport services
for families navigating mental health, behavioral, or substance-related challenges.
We specialize in intervention-led transport to residential treatment, therapeutic boarding schools,
and stabilization programs, particularly in situations where adolescents may feel anxious,
resistant, or emotionally dysregulated. Our focus is not only on getting a young person to their destination,
but on how they arrive — emotionally supported, respected, and prepared to engage in care.
Personalized, Intervention-Led Transport Approach
Every adolescent transport begins with a comprehensive understanding of the young person’s situation.
Our team conducts pre-transport planning calls with parents and relevant professionals
to design an individualized, trauma-informed plan that reflects the adolescent’s emotional state,
safety needs, and treatment goals.
This preparation allows us to anticipate challenges, reduce escalation, and support adolescents
through the transition with dignity and care rather than force or coercion.
Comprehensive Youth Transport Services Management
Assisted Interventions manages all logistical aspects of youth transport services,
serving as a single point of coordination for families. We liaise directly with treatment programs,
hospitals, physicians, and educational facilities to ensure that admissions timing,
travel arrangements, and handoffs are handled smoothly and professionally.
Our transport services may involve ground travel, air travel, or a combination of both,
depending on what is clinically and logistically appropriate for each case.
If you are considering youth transport services and would like to discuss your situation confidentially,
our team is available to help you understand appropriate next steps.
Ongoing Communication Throughout Transport
Clear and consistent communication is a cornerstone of our adolescent transport services.
Parents and receiving programs are kept informed throughout the transport process,
with updates provided until the adolescent arrives safely at the destination.
This transparency helps reduce anxiety for families and ensures continuity of care
across all parties involved.
Families often reach out to Assisted Interventions during moments of urgency, uncertainty, or fear.
Youth transport services are most effective when delivered by professionals who understand both the
logistical and emotional complexities involved.
Our team approaches each case with careful preparation, transparency, and respect for the adolescent’s experience,
recognizing that a calm and supported transition can meaningfully influence treatment engagement.
Post-Transport Review and Family Support
Following completion of transport, Assisted Interventions provides a
post-transport debriefing with parents.
A senior team member reviews the process, addresses questions or concerns,
and ensures families feel supported as their child begins the next phase of treatment.
Our involvement does not end at arrival — we prioritize reassurance,
accountability, and thoughtful closure.
Common Questions About Youth Transport Services
Is adolescent transport always part of an intervention?
Not always. While transport is often coordinated alongside an intervention,
families may also engage Assisted Interventions solely for youth transport services
once a treatment placement has already been secured.
Can you support adolescents who are anxious or resistant about leaving?
Yes. Our transport services are intervention-led and trauma-informed,
emphasizing de-escalation, trust-building, and emotional readiness rather than coercion.
How is youth transport different from standard escort services?
Adolescent transport through Assisted Interventions integrates clinical awareness,
careful planning, and ongoing communication.
The focus is on safety, dignity, and continuity of care — not simply logistics.

Testimonials
“Joe and his team made what was for me the most anxiety provoking part of this process, the most seamless, nurturing supportive experience. Joe always either took my calls ...returned texts with a reassuring confident manner, or let me know when he was available to speak. Sherman and Richard were patient, yet firm with my son (who I thought was going to be explosive and difficult) and kept me up to date throughout the transport. If not for them and their gentle guidance, this could have been a disaster.”

"Sherman and Richard helped us through one of the most difficult day of our lives. They were kind and calming and kept our son safe and calm throughout a very long journey. ....They updated us regularly and responded to our texts and calls immediately. Our son did not want to leave them at the end of his journey to Wilderness camp, and I suspect when he gets home he will want to get in touch with them. Clinton also prepared us in advance. He and his staff could not be more professional and kind. I am eternally grateful for the help they provided us on that highly stressful day.”

“We were terrified about letting two strangers take our son to Wilderness Therapy far away. We initially spoke with Clinton, who was also wonderful at calming our fears ....and knew these two guys would be a good match for our son. We could not have been more pleased with how everything went. We worked with Jason and Leighton. Jason was the lead, and he was very calm and reassuring. He prepped us a few days before and just before entering our son's room. Our son is a 17 yr old and on the larger side for his age, we were so unsure how he would react. We entered our son's room and spoke to him for about a minute then introduced Jason and Leighton and they took it from there. We disappeared as they prepared our son to go. It went very quickly and smoothly much to our surprise. We heard from them a couple times along the way and afterward. They were great at allaying our fears and keeping us informed. Thank you!!”
